You argument is hogwash; especially since Microsoft does not plan to develop IE much longer (not to mention Microsoft?s supposed drive to use standards). This is more like not letting a Ford drive on a Chevy dealer's lot. No one is asking Microsoft to 'service' Mozilla. They are only asking to service something they purchased from Microsoft using something other than IE. Also I may want to patch IE; but do not want to use IE to fix the problem or flaw. Catch 22. And the tire argument someone else mentioned makes sense (refusing to service a Chevy sold with Bridgestone tires because it came back for Air Conditioning service with Goodyear tires).

And what strikes me as being the most idiotic thing about this is why wouldn't a company want as many people to visit their site as possible? Isn't this the goal for any Internet presence? Don't they want people to switch? Hard to convince someone they should use Microsoft when you won't even let them in.
