Gmail--the club you can't get into
Gmail is the exclusive club that everyone wants to get into because not everyone can get into it.

Thanks but no thanks. Yahoo has responded by
simplifying its formerly clumsy webmail interface, and greatly increasing its storage space for free users. I can have as many addresses as I need.

And with the freeware accessory Yahoo Pops (available from http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net)
I can get my email delivered to me with an ordinary email client as well as by web interface.

So who needs Gmail?
