Tiger, Longhorn search for desktop answers

Just to heat thing up: "Microsoft has outlined a similar set-up in the search engine it plans for Longhorn, though it has offered fewer details."

Ans. There is no blueprint of Longhorn in place just a bunch of "pseudo reporters" and "pseudo analist" creating a lot of buzz around something that doesn't exist.

"To improve desktop search, Microsoft is turning to a new file system, dubbed WinFS..."

Ans. WinFS is not expected to been included on first release of Longhorn. Lets say that really Microsoft stand behind Longhorn release date 2006; you wont see the promise land (named WinFS) until lets say another 8 to 12 month at best. Again go to my first answer and read after... "a bunch of "pseudo reporters" and "pseudo analist"
