Of course it will, Mike. But Longhorn search depends on WinFS and Microsoft said WinFS won't be in the first release of Longhorn. So who knows how long it will take this particular cloud of MS vapor to condense into something real?

So it's a good bet that you may be trying to find data on your Windows computer the old way well into the next decade.
