Longhorn will tower over all...
My rep told me this is a no-lose proposition for Microsoft. He told me that Ballmer PERSONALLY has made this his passion, his very essence of being. He told me Microsoft has bet the company on this and there is no turning back. Anytime Microsoft bets the company, you know that they are serious. They have bet the company now on Win95, Win NT 4, Win2K, IE, Win2k3, XP, XP SP2, SUS, Exchange, SQL Server, .NET, MSN. As you can see, it is quite rare that MS goes this far. My rep told me to stay the course and I returned his confidence by signing up for another 5 years of software subscriptions.
