When I throw a temper tantrum, the press ignores me.

If Mr. McNealy wants to talk about public policy, he really ought to explain how his positions are in the public interest. Since I neither own stock in, nor am employed by Sun, I have no interest in whether or not something is good for Sun, nor do most people; what I am concerned about as a citizen is whether a policy is good for the public as a whole.

On the stock options issue, companies can always list the expense separately in their annual reports and allow investors to weigh it however they like.
