Lets not start a flame war but,
I don't want to get into a flame war, but for that matter Apple's $800 dollar eMac can also do what 99.999999% of the population wants to do.

G5s and OSX are used in supercomputing. $800 Dells with XP and $800 eMacs with OSX are not.

As for innovative OS's, what would constitute innovative in your book?
