No Ax was talking about search engines, but he claimed that it
was a "sure bet" because MS could somehow tie it into one of
their monopoly products. Which, as we know, is illegal.
---However, if they have a search feature that simply defaults to
MSN with options to add or replace it with other search engines,
then I don't see how that is illegal---
You may be right here, but when has MS ever given the user a
choice? Why just make something the default, when you can
weld it in so it can't be removed? That seems to be their
standard MO.

similar tool---
Remember that Firefox has not been declared a monopoly
product, nor been declared a product of an abusive monopoly.
They get to play by different rules. Furthermore, Firefox is not
owned by Google, so promoting Google gives them no financial
