No Ax was talking only about search engines
But to respond to your point, I agree if IE uses a search feature that is hardwired to MSN's search engine. However, if they have a search feature that simply defaults to MSN with options to add or replace it with other search engines, then I don't see how that is illegal.

I just tried Mozilla Firefox last night (version 0.8 on Gentoo Linux 2004.1 on compiled for amd64 if that makes a difference) and it offers a search tool with Google as the default. It only comes with Google preset, if you want another you have to set it up yourself. If Firefox can do that, then I don't see why IE can't have a similar tool with MSN as the default and only preset option, but allow for others to be set up as well.
