- Excellent article....
- I loved this negative piece on the Java industry. It just proves what my rep said a long time ago: "Java is bad". Those words of brilliance were presented to me at a .NET developer's event and they are as true today as they were then. The Java community is fragmented because Microsoft's vision and direction are so clear. Your average "Green Screen Linux" hacker cannot handle the polish of .NET and so chooses to use poor technology like Java. I will never forget the day we drove cars over all of our old Java books. When I came here, prior mgmt felt Java was a direction and actually had 3 people developing in it. I cancelled those projects, fired the developers and then took the books into the parking lot and drove all over them in my Range Rover.
