This suspension gives everybody a little breathing room. Microsoft has made some rather astonishing claims about the consequences of the EC sanctions, and it would be good for the industry if the supporting rationale were made public for the understanding of all. The EC agrees with this suspension and estimates that it will take about two months for the court to decide whether to apply or lift the order while the the appeal is under consideration.
