At last some common sense...
This was a fine decision from the EU. My rep and I called each other as soon as we had heard. I had put my European office MCSE's on high alert in case the order was not lifted. We were prepared to fight this directly as we have integrated Media Player into all of our .NET applications. Removing this from Windows would have been illegal and immoral. My rep provided me with unbiased figures from Microsoft that show worldwide productivity would have dropped 45.67% and the US economy would have indirectly felt a recessionary affect of 7.21% of GNP. The integration is so important, words cannot ilustrate it.
