Nope. Most popup blockers work by blocking the onopen/onclose javascript. When you click on a link that requires a popup for a legitimate function, it works. If you stumble on a poorly designed site that doesn't work, just put that site in the popup allowed list and drive on.

I'm sure MS will get this function designed correctly, after all they have Safari, Mozilla, Firebird, Opera, etc. as examples of how to do it right.
