Trillian is a NO-AD blessing...

I have run LAN parties and ONline Game groups for games such as Dark Age of Camelot and Asheron's Call for years.

One of our biggest problems was a way to instantly get a message to all of our players at once of an inpromptu event. E-mail didnt work well for this and we could not get everyone to decide on a particular IM client.

Along came Trillian to save the day. It allowed the organizers of the event/clans/guilds to get a message out to all these folks reletively easily and quickly.

An added bonus was the lack of ADs that all the IM clients are notorious for.

It is my opinion that the only people being hurt are the folks using Yahoo who wont be able to get messages from the other folks using Trillian.
