Users fume over Yahoo-Trillian scuffle

did you think before you typed?: even if they use another client, they still need a Yahoo account. (last i checked anyhow.. someone please correct me if Trillian can now circumvent the need for a valid account).
So this other user is still a yahoo user.

Also, considering how fast Trillian had a work around ready... it's just a complete waste of time.
