Users fume over Yahoo-Trillian scuffle

I got Trillian because I have equal ammounts of contacts in each service, and couldn't justify to ask the older crowd in one service to jump into another. It takes them a little while, and I really want to be in touch with them, even more than most of the younger crowd, so I let everyone use what they will, I just consolidated them all into one, to same vome space in my desktop, and because diferent uses for the same keys and functions in diferent services annoy me

Yahoo used to be my favourite, and it bothers me that they would put me in a situation to have to choose to be monopolized by them. So I choose not to use them at all.
I sent a message to my contacts letting them know I will never be on Yahoo Messenger or using their email any longer,a nd giving them alternative forms of communication, like MSN and Hotmail, for the time being. Then I uninstalled Yahoo Messenger. Whoever comes, good. Whoever doesn't, I probably don't have much to talk to them about anyway, or they are not logging in as often, so no way to talk to them unless they mail. So either way, its all good
