which law?
Can you tell me what the law was they broke by adding a browser to the OS. Seems to me that was NOT determined to be problem. They forced Microsoft to remove it, they did, then the DoJ immediately told them to put it back. So, did they decide it was legal afterall?

One last time. Netscape went out of business by their own doing. They lost market not to IE, but because they tried to build something nobody wanted that didn't work with standards.
I guess Microsoft was unlucky to be there when that happened.

I've often wondered if Netscape purposely made those moves to go under and shoot for a settlement not realizing they still had the upper hand. They still had the userbase. I used netscape after IE was out and so did a large number of people. They could have kept the market they had and made a go of it but obviously chose to ditch it.
