Microsoft-SAP talks rooted in database concern

Both Peoplesoft and SAP are finished...

I do not understand all the ruckus. We migrated to Microsoft's Great Plains software and dumped SAP years ago. Microsoft's CRM software is also awesome. Microsoft is such an enterprise player, Oracle, Peoplesoft, IBM and SAP all ought to bond together in order to attempt survival. The Outlook client for MS CRM is so robust, so refined that it brings a tear to my eye. Our sales people claim the system is slow but that is because they tend to try and perform several operations at once. I have launched a training initiative aimed at telling them to do one thing at a time and to be patient. We are thinking of merging our MS CRM onto the newly announced MS supercomputing platform in order to gain further magnitudes of scalability and competitive advantage.
