Spam, spim, whatever.... it's a fat lie!
They aren't worried about spam or spim or whatever they want to call it!

What they are really worried about is that like MSN and AOL, their IM client displays ads. Trillian doesn't.

My re-action will be simple, if they keep blocking Trillian, I'll just drop them as an IM service and the people who I talk to will as well... before long they'll find they have a lot fewer users...
