Never underestimate the need for people...
to keep completely useless stuff and things that may cover their axes.

It would ne nice to see resources devoted to SPAM stoppage but storage is soooo much cheaper and easier to implement. I think most normal human consumers could live with a daily email cap with their ISP, say 500 outbound emails a day. That seems like a lot for a regular Jane or Joe. This would cut down on the zombie mailers whose home PCs are spewing thousands of garbage mail adverts out to the rest of us. Not a great solution for business but we can look at something different for that type of usage. We need a positive solution to stem the tide of unsolicited commerical email that is growing despite the CAN-SPAM Act.
