Let's say you work for MS, and I'm making an advertisement for IBM. I decide to use your likeness in my ad without your permission or that of MS. I then have the ad shown on ZDNet, CNN.com, and ABC.com. What the judge's decision says is that you can't sue ZDNet, CNN, or ABC (online or offline) for publishing the ad. You are still free to sue me and my ad agency.
