You miss the MS/ZDNet definition of "leading"

"The company is also not allowing people to edit their documents online, but
executives stressed over and over that Microsoft is committed to being the leader in
productivity software and that includes online editing."

When MS says they're committed to leading it means they'll pay ZDnet for more
column inches than anyone else;-)

Fancy an online productivity suite where you can't edit a <ocument. Those guys at MS
are really ahead of the game;-)
