That's a little premature. So you think that MS will just sit there and do nothing while the market evolves? That is wishful thinking at it's best. It's going to be an interesting next few years but hardly an easy win for the Linux crowd.

I expect that it is more likely that Linux will be an incentive for MS to invest more heavily in R&D and lower prices to make themselves a better investment for the end user. The end-user will win, but I don't think that Linux will. The Linux crowd won't go away because they don't do it for profit, but many of the companies that are trying to turn a buck with Linux may go away.
