Yes but..

..the point was that guns are potentially MUCH more harmful than P2P, and yet will soon be much less regulated than mere file trading (I'm not an anti-gun zealot, just making a point). The same could be said for liquor. NOTHING good comes from drinking it; it's pure poison (though it does make the ladies cuter). And yet all the drunk driving accidents have done nothing towards banning it. The point is that it's all (obviously) about money. Because powerful corporations feel threatened, we ALL have to get royally j*erked off. So everything computerwise will be compromised just so these criminal idiots can keep gouging the public with second rate mickey mouse music. The RIAA are basically going to be wiping out virtual free trade. I have never felt such strong desire to start seriously hurting certain people. This is going WAAAAAY too far!
