I don't know if passing power and data around our bodies will lead to your outcome but with the rise in identity theft and the desire of the government to stop terrorism could.

It would be easy for one to imagine scenario where the government decides that everyone will have to have an ID chip implanted so that everyone can be positively identified.

Hopefully MS wins the contract and we can remain as anonymous as we are now...
