Sure
I agree, mostly, with what you said. I think we would be better off if there were more moderates on both sides. I would say that I "lean" to the right but do not always agree with them.

What happened over the last 20 years or so? There used to be a lot of common ground and compromise, but, in my view, the Dems went waaaay left at some point.

And as far as my labels, my perception of most of the media, is that they have a very liberal agenda/slant. In other words most of them have a hard left twist to most of their stories. They usually forget the facts and reporting and resort to too much opinionizing of the news, and they also don't present both/all sides.

I'm surprised that you think the media were equally as hard on Clinton as they are on Bush. (I did it again, this time I used "hard on" in the same sentence as Clinton) I thought the media treated Clinton like a darling compared to Bush.

Just to point out that when you talk about one-sided I am VERY one sided. About the TRUTH that is. That is where my distinction lies, especially with the media. I think they have an obligation to report the facts and to dispense with all of this "unamed sources" and editorializing crap.

I guess I should be more specific and not lump all liberals together, but it is difficult to distinguish one lefty from another these days.

When I say liberal I am referring to the likes of Ted Kennedy, Diane Feinstein, John Kerry, George Soros, Michael Moore etc. And anyone who espouses their twisted view of the world.

Part of it too is the outrage I feel when they spew their lies and others take it as fact and keep spreading it like a virus.

I read this in a book when I was young(er): "... I looked around and suddenly realized how evil had insidiously weaved its way into the very fabric of life." This is so true today, don't you think?
