The MSfreePC effort offers California residents qualified for settlement benefits the ability to swap the vouchers they are eligible to receive from Microsoft for Lindows software. The Microsoft vouchers can be used to buy hardware or software products from any manufacturer and typically range in value from $5 to $29

So, it reads as though Lindows are offering to swap the MS vouchers which are redeemable for any software for vouchers which are redeemable for only Lindows software (if you file suit through the Lindows-operated site this is exactly what happens)

By doing so Lindows are generating revenue by encouraging people to file suit through them in order to be awarded Lindows vouchers instead of the universal vouchers which MS is offering.
