How about others?
I constantly get offers from credit card companies offering to roll all my credit debit from any institution into one loan - provided it's with their credit company.

I also get offers from super annuation funds offering to roll any funds into their one account.

How is what Linodws is doing any different? Lindows is offering to help file the claim, in return you buy some of their product. If you don't like the deal, then file the claim yourself or with some other vendor, maybe Microsoft?
