That's the funny thing

I have bought, I think, only 2 CD in the past 4 years. Before that I bought about 6-12 a year depending on what was released. I see from posts here that I'm not the only one who has cut back or stopped entirely in the business of buying CDs.

Now stats show that CD sales are up, though RIAA denies this but the stats are there. Now if CD sales are up and many have stopped buying CDs then really how much is P2P sharing actually hurting the industry. Obviously they are getting more customers to replace people like me or those who continued buying are buying more today than ever before.

As No_Axe_to_grind would say, it's thier choice as content holders to decide how they will handle this even if it is kind of stupid. Bunch of twits afraid of change.
