You probably have fine hearing, but...
I am not a VBA "expert". I learned VBA by looking at resulting VBA from recording macros in Excel, clicking "help" or go online and getting creative about it. Maybe it just works for me because if I find one way doesn't work, I tried another.

I hope you noticed I used VBA to construct Perl Instruction to take care of distros, because VBA itself had a limmitation in the enviroment. VBA could only do this because I made use of Excell to have a sheet with instruction snippets and let VBA glue them together to export a Perl script.

Did the same with the HTML content for the mails, btw. My point is, that Excel, in combo with VBA is a lot more powerfull when you think "outside the box". With the alternative spreadsheets I am missing this versatile approach. I don't give a hoot wether its VBA/Excel and would just as happily use something else as versatile that can get the job done as simple and as quick, but there no alternative for the type of spreadsheet abuse I like to get into, so I stick with excel for the time being.
