Very well actually. Try it yourself by running eclipse on all
of its supported platforms. I use Mac OS X but deploy SWT
apps to Gnome and windows.

"pretty much", shouldn't that be absolutely windows only!

With many enterprises looking at alternative OSes doesn't it
make sense to develop in a platform independent fashion
but still enjoy the benefits of native performance and look
and feel? SWT is not for everyone but it is a good
alternative, especially for corporates looking at GNU/Linux
thin clients down the track.
