- Neutering Microsoft would open the door to international competition and potentionally damage US dominance in IT. Both Oracle and Peoplesoft are US companies and provide better competition against SAP as separate products rather than a single organization. One is only fooling themselves if they think the justice department gives a crap about international competition and the IT consumer versus their inherent need to support US interests.
