Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt ! = MSFT's best product
Hrmm... SO MANY questions about HYPOTHETICAL SITUATIONS!!

1. "what is Google doing that indicates they are in lock step with customer needs?"
2. "What happens if Google executes poorly?"
3. "doesn't this equal a very small percentage of global information workers today?"
etc etc etc

This shows MSFT is in PANIC. Resorting to this sort of BASIC FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) clearly shows the level of their fear.

Let's see...

WHAT IF VISTA DOESN'T SELL AS EXPECTED?

WHAT IF MSFT is FORCED TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF XP BECAUSE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS DON'T WANT TO "UPGRADE" ?

WHAT IF KEY VENDORS (HP, Lenovo, ACER, DELL) start preloading LINUX ?

What if Microsoft faces competition from OPENOFFICE.ORG and now STAROFFICE bundled as part of GOOGLE PACK ?, both FREE?

What if Microsoft's semi-open XML Office file format is REJECTED by the ISO?

What if Microsoft's games console was so poorly designed that it forced the company to do recalls and this hit them with $1 BILLON in expenses?

What if Nintendo's simple games console outsold Microsoft's ?

What? All this has already happened?

Wouldn't this indicate that MSFT is hopelessly going down???

happy
