Why using such software?

If you are an IT pro and have to work with many OS, you just can not have THAT many computers.
If I go out with my notebook (running XP) and come to a customer, where I have to troubleshoot IP network, i load Vmware with Linux and do it, and at the same time I check the results as a Windows WS. Or at work I have to check the latest Novell or MS Win2003 server and interoperability, various Solaris and Linux flavors - it is much easier with virtual machines. It is easier to copy them, to backup them, to bring them back, to transfer from one computer to another and so on and so on...
And please, I am no fan of ANY os, I just want to have the work DONE! Just use the one that suits my need at that time.
