VM 30 Years Later
Good! MS at last innovated the multiple OS instances running concurrently on the same hardware.

It's only 30 years later after IBM implemented it successfully on its S/370 mainframes with the Virtual Machine (VM) architecture.

But the problem with the MS windows is NOT running multiple instances of it on the same PC, but that its "OS" cannot run SINGLE instance on multiple processors and the lack of smooth distributed system support, that is comparable to that which the UNIX offers.

I guess one of its 35000+ engineers noticed it somehow.Another 30 old (re)innovation...
