After all the talk
After all the talk about Munich converting the actual conversion will begin on July 1st and only take 4 to 5 years to complete. Having read all the posts about what a success this was for OSS you would think that it would be a little farther along then this. The other day I challenged the OSS community to show me a link to a single company or government agency to complete a migration to Linux on the desktop. I am still waiting. It seems the Linux migration remains a tempest in a teapot and not the ground swell that some would have you believe. The future may in fact be Linux but today it is Linux.
