Happy victims

The people with a lot of spyware have made a trade. Their computers get hijacked and in return they don't have to think about the problem.

Yes, it's largely a Windows problem. Microsoft sells to people who don't like computers, and it shows.
I suppose it's now necessary for Microsoft to hold peoples' hands about spyware, viruses, etc.

But the better solution would be getting users to think. Do they let their car go 30,000 miles without an oil change? Why shouldn't the computer get basic maintenance, too?
