Please read, Mr. Moore

US copyright law is simply baffling. The courts provide a provision to allow personal copying under limited circumstances ("fair use"), which can now be revoked by content companies, simply by placing barriers to copying on the media.

The content companies, who never liked the fair use provision in the first place, now have the complete authority over what can and cannot be copied. This is ludicrous.

But there is a better alternative. Mr. Moore, if the US courts prevent you from legally creating and distributing products to allow consumers to exercise their fair use rights, I suggest you leave the jurisdiction of the US court system.

Move your company to Canada. Our copyright laws are balanced, and liberal. Copies can legally be made of nearly any disc for personal use.

Please, don't allow the RIAA, etc. to trample over consumers. Please, continue to make your products that allow consumers to exercise our legal rights.
