It's simply...This in NO way helps the American people.
It helps those with big money, make more money. And we are the refuse left behind. Increasingly people are shopping at WalMart not because they want to save...but because that is all they can hope to afford. Why!?! Well we make nothing here ie the ever increasing trade in balance between us and those offshore nations who are making things and shipping them to America. So how again is this helping us? Granted we see lower prices in some cases...however in the end once the transition is complete, those lower prices will be ALL that we can afford. Do any of us think that any single high paying job is safe in this country? I hate to tell you but the simple fact is anything one human being can do, can be done by another. Soon, in the blink of an eye really, we will loose our technology edge, and once that is over with.....our middle class will be done.

No repeat after me "Welcome to WalMart" you'll want to learn this phrase for it will be very important in your next job (If you are one of the lucky one's that is)
