Responsivness to R&D

"Among the activities ripe for sending abroad are research and development tasks, the report suggested. "One of the most intriguing advantages we have come across is faster (and lower-cost) R&D," it said. "Because companies that are established in LCCs eliminate a lot of automation and tooling requirements from their operations, they can be much more responsive to R&D requests."


Fist off all one should take a cerful look at rate of waste due to lack of commitment. Perhaps, one vcan pay far less for product mistakes by hiring cheap labor, but that does not eliminate irresponsibility of decisions by some. In fact the availabilitry of cheap labor and cheap ways of building infrastusture may increase number of reckless decisions and "experiments" as well decrease level of dedication to a product or strategy (and tryust me: autsourcing is not a strategy - it is just a step).
