That does not make sense.

Layoff folks that have a comfortable living, and put them in a predicament where they will probably lose their homes, to get graduates that can live with mom and pop... and don't have the expenses of a home. Seems like you would be shooting yourself in the foot, once you start getting comfortable, because someone will take over your job.. since you are now getting too expensive.
