Behold the power of Microsoft and its abilities to be a solution provider. If it wasn't for Access and SharePoint this type of project couldn't be done.
Dude... That has got to be one of THE most braindead comments. Not to mention shameless FUD.
There ARE other database platforms out there, you know. Many, if not all of them are even able to provide web based access. It may not work quite the same way as Access and Sharepoint, but they ARE out there.
