"..and does not enforce their patent from the beginning, they should be denied the right to later attempt to enforce the patent when their technology has become ingrained and indispensable."

Too true. Especially since the withholding of the claim to the patent is deliberately withheld until enough victims have lined up. You 'd have to be nuts to think you are going to get the patent office to "re-examine itself". These false claims to property by big companies are how they will be able to hold on to their piece of the pie. To think they will not lobby like fiends to keep these bogus patents alive and well would be like expecting Martha Stewart to act humble. Once again it will be the people (with no money, political power) trying to overturn something endorsed by big business (with billions of dollars at its disposal). You do the math and tell me who will be listened to and get their way. It's a true shame that the greed of money will once again ruin yet another industry. Soon all the big corporates will gobble up the internet and bang the IP club over the heads of any of the small fries. Then the internet will become swamped with nothing but ads, spam, and other useful stuff..much different than how it is today. Once the little guys have been shut out of the pie, the gouging will become unprecendented. Merely being online or doing anything once online will cost an arm and a leg. One day the rabble will become fed up with the Bill Gates of the world and his ilk (greedy corporates). Then violent protest will become a normal phenomenon, with CEOs having to hide out from fear of a bullet piercing their skulls. Bombings of corporate headquarters/offices will be a regular event in the future.
