Oh, this is sooooo rich.

They are a venture capitol/technology holding company. They buy patents, and technology strictly to lease out the use of same. They don't invent anything - but they do help bring to market ideas that can make make them and the inventor money. Talk about the ability to cherry pick.

Why is this sooooo rich? It's the antithesis of the open source system. Seems like there are more than a couple of folks out there, sitting in their dark basements, or attics, or garages/huts/yurts/palatial yachts what have you that are simply in the business of making money.

My, what a shocking concept!!!
