I make a purchase over Ebay. I use Paypal to pay, through the Ebay link. Now, since I live in Canada, the bid amount is converted into US dollars. OK.

A few days later, I get an e-mail for the seller saying he hasn't received the payment. I tell him the account I sent the money to, and he said no.. that's the wrong account.. and to send it to a different one (odd, I thought, that he had the wrong account setup by default on Ebay..).

Anyway, I cancel the original Paypal payment, and immediately make the new one.
And what happens? I'm refunded $15 LESS THAN I originally paid on the cancellation, and charged (approximately) the same more on the second payment.

So Paypal basically screwed me out of $15. I want my $15 back.. I e-mail Paypal support, to no avail. I e-mail the seller asking him to refund me the money (after all, it was - in the final analysis - his error..), to no avail.

Long story short: left negative feedback, and have never used Paypal or Ebay since.
