Well, for starters....
I STOPPED using PayPal for many reasons. I can not speak for the first person commenting, but it is a well documented fact that their customer service is one of the poorest for a banking company. Plus, they weasle their way out of many banking laws and rules.

Perhaps during your tenure with them, you never needed their customer service, otherwise you would have cancelled to.

There was a time back in 2002/2003 that, if you wanted to sell an item on ebay you were required to setup a business account. This happened only a few months and the company denies it, but it happened to me. They CHANGED my PayPal account to a business too. So my charges went to the roof to list 4 items (which never sold). Attempting to get customer service involved only resulted in automatic responses and nothing further. They totally ignored me for the longest time. Once I had a person respond, they didn't read my email and situation but only would direct me to their Q&A area. Sorry pitiful people! I created a new personal account on ebay and closed my other accounts. I see PayPal on Ebay, I run!

I am hopefully that this litigation will require them to clean up their service (both PayPal and Ebay). PayPal need to follow the banking laws and rules and they need oversight on their customer service.

Perhaps the first person commenting was referring to these rip-offs. Not necessarily monetary.
