Arrg makes a rather obscure reference to the fact that MS can make software that is not tied to the OS (a la their claims regarding IE) and you respond with a totally unrelated fact?

Whether or not Office is the biggest selling package on Mac is irrelevant. It was developed on Mac years before the Windows version was available - does that help? It was developed when Windows didn't even exist, when PC users thought concepts like "sound", "colour" and standard interfaces like SCSI and NuBus were only for panises who needed simple, easily expandable computers: they certainly weren't for real computers.

The development of Office allowed MS to see the guts of how the Mac OS worked, rip-off Apple's ideas and use them to make Windows even half useable.

So what was your point?
