Embrace, extend, extinguish...
No, Ax, I'm afraid you gotten confused: "Embrace, extend, extinguish..." is _Microsoft's_ thing, not IBM's.

I guess IBM, and maybe everyone less, does have one thing to thank Microsoft for -- they've provided a kind of childish OS as a stop-gap while Linux grew up.
