Um..HP and other PC venders have suffered under the gentle hand of MS
for a very long time...In fact the only thing longer than their suffering is their memory of said. Now they see a way out from under the thumb, and since MS has been put convicted as a Monopolist, nad using it's monopoly power in and illegal fashion...then V. it is unlikely that MS will try something as foolish as what you suggested. So MS is finding out the old saying still rings true.."What goes around, comes around"
