It's a legal way of saying...
...any last relevant evidence before I toss this crapass case out?

Kimball used the slander of title case to gut almost all of SCO's assertions. If Novell didn't transfer the copyrights SCO has nothing. And even if they did transfer the copyrights, SCO still has to prove infringement. SCO can't even get their case out of the starting gate.

Only the IBM contract case will be left and even that doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

This wasn't a split decision, it was a solid loss for SCO along with a warning that there's more trouble ahead.
